difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded
here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles,
giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals,
wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.
It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the
natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions
of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of
water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the
savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures
Day 3 Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru
Depart the camp soon after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru
National park. Lunch at Lake campsite then proceed for afternoon
game drives at Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift
Valley, renowned for its spectacular flamingo population as one of
the world's greatest ornithological spectacles. Although Lake Nakuru
is primarily a bird sanctuary, there are a considerable number of
animals to be encountered, such as many large game animals such as
zebras, elephants and gazelles, this is one of our best chances of
seeing rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park was the first place in
Kenya selected as a rhino reserve. Here is one of the few places
where we can see Rothschild's giraffes. Dinner and overnight at Lake
Nakuru Guest house

Lake Manyara National Park takes pride in diversified habitat is
mirrored by its varied fauna, with some of the more common and
visible large mammal species being the buffalo, elephant, giraffe,
zebra, lion and wildebeests. Prominently renowned for its
tree-climbing lions, which spend most of the day spread out along
the branches of acacia trees, Lake Manyara is also home to troops of
baboons and blue monkeys. Along with the astonishing tree climbing
lions there are the usual browsers and grazers as well as the
curios-looking banded mongoose.
The park is rich with fantastic bird life. More than 400 species of
birds including African spoonbill, cormorants, flamingo, pelican,
red billed quelea, sacred ibis and Egyptian geese, white pelican and
white faced duck are prominent in this vicinity. Aside from the
park, the alkaline soda-content Lake Manyara also thrives with
several brackish water birds such as the Pink-hued flamingos plus
thousands of colorful specks blustering off the lake shore
Day 7:Lake Manyara - Serengeti National park
Early morning game drives then return to the camp for breakfast
.Depart the camp and proceed Serengeti passing through Olduvai
Gorge, the archeological site of the Leakey family. Meals and
overnight at Seronera campsite
Day 8: Serengeti National park
A full day with morning and afternoon game drives to explore the
plains, Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Seronera campsite
Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife
sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and
scientific value. With more than two million wildebeest, half a
million Thomson's gazelle, and a quarter of a million zebra, it has
the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. The wildebeest
and zebra moreover form the star cast of a unique spectacular - the
annual Serengeti migration.
A unique combination of diverse habitats enables it to support more
than 30 species of large harbivores and over 400 species of birds
Day 9: Ngorongoro conservation area
Breakfast at leisure then view game as you drive to Ngorongoro
conservation area for overnight stay at Ngorongoro Simba campsite
The park is one of the most densely crowded wildlife areas in the
world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals. There are no
giraffe, topi or impala in the park - they probably find it to
difficult to negotiate the crater rim cliffs and there is also
insufficient grazing for large herds of antelope, inside the park.
However the park teems with wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, aggressive
pack hunting hyenas and resident lion prides. Supported by a year
round supply of water and fodder, the park supports a vast variety
of animals, which include impressive herds of wildebeest, zebra,
buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, giant elephants and a small
population of black rhino. Another big draw to this picturesque park
is it dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas,
jackals, cheetahs and the ever elusive leopard.
Over 500 species of
bird have been recorded within the NCA. These include ostrich, white
pelican, and greater and lesser flamingo on Lake Magadi within the
crater, Lake Ndutu, and in the Empakaai Crater Lake, where a vast
bird population can be observed.
Day 10 Ngorongoro Arusha
After breakfast do we head into the Tarangire National Park for
a morning game drive .The Tarangire National Park is reputed to
contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African
national park is also home to three rare species of animals - the
Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy
Starlings. We return to the lodge for lunch after which we will
