001. NAIROBI CITY TOUR
The
tour covers the modern city centre, the National Museum
and the adjacent Snake Park, Parliament Buildings, the
Railway Museum where old stream locomotives are
exhibited. The tour includes a visit to the city market
where a wide variety of African curios, tropical fruit
and flowers are on sale, ending with a visit to the
Kenyatta International Conference Centre view point
which has a revolving restaurant.
CSA 002. BOMAS OF KENYA
A Boma means homestead in Kiswahili. Some 18km from
Nairobi city centre we have the Bomas of Kenya where the
day to day lives of the 43 different ethnic groups in
Kenya are depicted through traditional dances and
folklore. These plus an acrobatic show are performed in
a splendid arena.

CSA 003. KAREN BLIXEN AND
GIRAFFE CENTER
4 hours drive towards Ngong Hills by passing Ngong
village to the Karen Blixen Museum of the “Out of
Africa” fame which was for many years her home. Later
proceed to the Giraffe Center to view and feed the
famous Rothschild’s giraffes which are an endangered
species from a specially constructed observation
platform.

CSA 004. CARNIVORE
EXPERIENCE
The
excursion is guaranteed daily 12.30pm and 7.00pm. We
recommend lunch or dinner at the Carnivore which is
famous for its succulent steaks and barbequed meat
dishes including game meat. The restaurant is therefore
dubbed the meat eaters’ paradise, though it also offers
a vegetarian menu. The meal is an excellent complement
to a holiday especially as a welcome or farewell. The
cost includes return hotel transfers.
The central attraction of
the restaurant is a large circular open fire with 52
converted Masai tribal spears holding a variety of 10
different types of meat such as pork, lamb, beef,
chicken, ribs and sausages and including such game meats
as crocodile, zebra, giraffe, impala, ostrich, etc,
gently roasting and waiting for you to begin your
feast!!!

CSA 005. NAIROBI NATIONAL
PARK
The Park is only a few kilometers from Nairobi city
centre. The park is home to over 50 species of mammals
including four out of the ‘big five’ except the
elephant. The tour includes a visit to the animal
orphanage where wounded or orphaned animals are nurtured
back to health. The tour departs at 8.30 am or 2.00pm
daily.The park has a
large and diverse wildlife population. Species found in
the park include African buffalo, baboon, black
rhinoceros, Burchell's zebra, cheetah, Coke's
hartebeest, Grant's gazelle, hippopotamus, leopard,
lion, Thomson's gazelle, eland, impala, Masai giraffe,
ostrich, vulture, and waterbuck.

CSA 006. NAIROBI NATIONAL
PARK/CARNIVORE/BOMAS
The tour departs in the morning at 8.30 am. The Park is
7km from the city centre Nairobi National Park is a
unique ecosystem by being the only protected area in the
world close to a capital city. The park is located only
7 km from Nairobi city centre. The savannah ecosystem
comprise of different vegetation types. Open grass
plains
with
scattered acacia bush are predominant. The western side
has a highland dry forest and a permanent river with a
riverine forest. To the south are the Athi-Kapiti Plains
and Kitengela migration corridor which are important
wildlife dispersal areas during the rain season.
Man-made dams within the park have added a further
habitat, favourable to certain species of birds and
other aquatic biome.
Major wildlife attractions are the Black rhino, lion,
leopard, cheetah, hyena, buffaloes, Giraffe, zebra,
wildebeest, elands and diverse birdlife with over 400
species recorded. Other attractions include the Ivory
burning site Monument, Nairobi Safari Walk, the
Orphanage and the walking trails at hippo pools.
. After lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant,
continue to the Bomas of Kenya for a fiesta of
traditional music and dance. The tour ends in the city
centre in the evening.

CSA 007. LOST PARADISE
Leave Nairobi and drive to the largest picnic site in
Kenya, the grounds cover 54 acres. This is the home of
the Stone Age caves and traces thought to be hundreds of
years old while the river reeks have stories to tell of
centuries past and people long dead. We have nature
trails and campsites everywhere which lead to a
waterfall about 10m long which fees a dammed river
flowing past the picnic site. Activities include feeding
the Masai ostriches, bird watching, and boat riding ad
fishing for black bass.

TRIP
7.30a.m.
Pick from your Nairobi hotel and depart for Lake Nakuru
National Park. Lake Nakuru lies on the floor of the
volcano strewn Rift Valley and is famous for its greater
and lesser flamingos. It is also the home to the white
rhino which is an endangered species. Proceed for a game
drive enrooted to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game
viewing in search of the plains game that abounds into
the park then depart for Nairobi arriving in the
evening.
